Husband Makes Surprise To Wife, Gives 12ft ‘T-Rex’ As A Decoration For Their Garden

A husband makes something very unexpected where he wants to make a surprise for his wife. What is surprising is that he presented his wife with a 12-foot dinosaur T-Rex statue.

52-year-old Adrian Shaw was originally asked by his wife, Deborah to buy a gnome to decorate their garden

“This project is a result of my wife’s request to make the garden look nice,” said Adrian.

“She suggested I clear away the weeds and maybe put a gnome on the patio which got me thinking. I thought nothing could possibly look nicer in the garden than a 3.5 meter replica of a rampaging T-Rex, so I bought one,” he added.

The T-Rex statue named Dave was later placed in the couple’s garden using a crane at the Leamington Spa, Warks while Deborah was out doing business.

The man bought the statue for £ 1,600 from a company in Wales.

When his wife returned, his wife was shocked to see the statue in their garden at midnight.

“I thought my wife would be thrilled to bits but I don’t think she was as enthusiastic as I’d expected her to be,” Adrian said.

“She came home late from work and it was dark so I thought I’d surprise her with Dave the next morning when she opened the curtains,” Adrian continued.

Adrian said he could hear his wife screaming and saw that the 53-year-old woman was shocked by his surprise.

“I’ve fallen in love with Dave though and he’s not going anywhere. I’m sure Deborah will understand and grow to love him just as much as I do,” added Adrian.
