A 70% discount is being offered on summonses issued by the Road Transport Department (JPJ) and the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) from August to September.
Transport Minister Wee Ka Siong said the discount, which is being offered in conjunction with the national month, is for offences committed under the Road Transport Act 1987, Commercial Vehicles Licensing Board Act 1987 and Land Public Transport Act 2010, including blacklisted cases.
JPJ calls on the public who have an outstanding JPJ summons to clear the payment before 30 September 2020. Payment can be made at any JPJ counter throughout Malaysia.
As announced by YB Datuk Seri Ir. Dr. Wee Ka Siong, Minister of Transport Malaysia, the reduction of JPJ compound summons by 70% has been extended until 30 September 2020.
