JPS Shares Before Vs After Transformation of Reservoir That Used To Filled With Trash And Clogged

Illegal dumping into the river has become quite worrying in our country. People have been dumping a lot of things and ignoring the consequences that all of us are going to face.

These few years, we’ve heard more news that is related to river pollution. In Malaysia, river pollution is something that can be a bit hard for us to overcome. All Malaysians need to have awareness and not only depending on authorities to solve this problem.

Recently, the Malaysian Department of Irrigation and Drainage is comparing the condition of a reservoir last year and this year on the JPS Malaysia Twitter account. JPS is comparing pictures of the reservoir taken last year and this year.

JPS shared a picture of Maya Karin taken in March 2019 with the reservoir filled with trash. Other pictures show the reservoir filled with trash after a flash flood has subsided and a picture of the reservoir after it has been cleaned.

JPS expressed their disappointment when seeing the river in such a bad condition. All Malaysians have to take serious attention to this matter and work together with the authorities in making sure Malaysia can be a clean country for a living.

Last year @maya_karin saw the condition of the river full of garbage, this year try to see the river/flood reservoir pond full of garbage after the flash flood receded.

Until when do you want to have this attitude? Please take a look at the types of garbage you can find. Natural waste or waste from human hands?
