In the video, can be seen the man, a 32-year-old polish man Marcin Banot climbing up the building without a shirt. His Instagram page showed him staring up the tall building in pairs on Wednesday with the caption: “Calm down…”

Banot also uploaded few more videos to the build-up to his climb as well footage of him scaling the tall building and the aftermath.

Police, emergency services, and ambulances were scrambled to the iconic building in the French capital. Witnesses said the climber set off from the bottom around 7 pm and didn’t stop.

One said: “It looked incredibly dangerous, and some thought it might be a suicide attempt, but he just kept going.”

Can be seen in the image, the man wearing a T-shirt and shorts as he hauled himself up the building.

At the time he was getting to the top, it said that a rescuer believed to be part of a police unit came down the tower using ropes and a safety harness, and escorted the climber to safety. When reached a safer place, the climber then was arrested.
