Messi Agreed To Join Manchester City With £623 Million Agreement

The transfer of famous footballer Lionel Messi to Manchester City is still hotly debated around the world. Recently, there were reports stating that Lionel Messi had agreed to a personal terms of £ 623 million (RM 3.4 billion) for a 5-year contract.

The 33-year-old was also offered an equity interest in City Football Group and this means Messi will serve three years with Manchester City before moving to New York City FC to play in the United States League or Major League Soccer.

The six-time Ballon d’Or winner has expressed his desire to leave Barcelona after nearly two decades of service at the club. It got hotter when Barcelona lost 8-2 to Bayern Munich in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Ronald Koeman, the newly Barcelona boss even has decided that if Messi does not want to stay at the club, it would be better to get him out immediately.
