Selamat Hari Raya to Everyone! – Nando’s Malaysia

Nando’s has been a favorite place for Malaysian families to eat and have a gathering together. Its wide range of menus is suitable for everyone to grab a meal here.

Two days ago, Nando’s Malaysia has stirred up many Malaysians by wishing “Selamat Hari Raya” on its social media. And yesterday, the restaurant chain once again uploaded a weird Chinese New Year poster with a complete wish on celebrating the day. Why Nando’s is acting weird these two days?

It turned out that this is their strategy for their new promotions, “Re-Celebrate 2020” which is proven to successfully attract Malaysians.

2020 has been a tough year for everyone. We had missed our two big celebrations this year because of COVID-19. Thus, Nando’s Malaysia is taking this opportunity to re-celebrate Hari Raya and CNY with all Malaysians.

This unique marketing strategy has left Malaysians with a lot of confusion. Netizens were responding to the postings with witty comments. When Nando’s finally revealed its trick, this strategy surely brings laughter to all Malaysians. Good job Nando’s.

“Raya everywhere feels the same if always with family. Selamat Hari Raya to all our Muslim friends,” wrote Nando’s on one of its posts.
