Singer Sandra Dianne Dies

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 11  — Singer, Sandra Dianne who fell unconscious after being involved in an accident last Saturday died at the Putrajaya Hospital this morning.

Selangor Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department director Supt Azman Shariat said the contestant of the Big Stage 2020 reality show died at about 1 am.

“We received a call from the Putrajaya Hospital, confirming the victim’s death and the case has been reclassified under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987,” he told Bernama.

Sandra who was popular for the hit song ‘Hey! Kau’ was heading to the Putrajaya International Convention Centre to attend the fourth week of the Big Stage 2020 concert training when the mishap occurred at about 2.30 pm along with the North-South Expressway Central Link (Elite).

It is learned that the car driven by Sandra, 26, lost control before ramming into a car in front.

The Sabah-born singer who suffered a head injury had been in a coma since being admitted to the hospital’s intensive care unit.
