Sylvester Stallone’s Mother Passed Away At Age 98

The mother of famous Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone is reported to have passed away. Jackie Stallone, who is also the mother of singer Frank Stallone, died at the age of 98.

But according to TMZ, the exact circumstances of her death are still unclear. She is known as an astrologer, dancer and also a female’s wrestling promoter.

Back in the 80s, Jackie really helped start the original “GLOW” wrestling program. At the time, she was the manager and promoter of the program, which of course would later be portrayed in the famous Netflix show of the same name.

Born in Washing DC on November 29, 1921, Jackie Stallone is also a well-known astrologer, making a number of TV appearances throughout the 90s. Jackie also appeared on the UK reality show “Celebrity Big Brother” back in 2005.

Her younger son, Frank Stallone made the announcement through his Facebook account.

“She was a remarkable woman, working out every day, full of spunk and fearless. She died in her sleep as she had wished. It was hard not to like her, she was very eccentric and flamboyant person,” he said.

“She lived through prohibition, the depression and World War II. I would talk to her for hours about the 20s 30s and 40s. It was a history lesson. Her mind was as sharp as a razor till the day she died,” added Frank.

She is seen active on Instagram, regularly posting photos of herself working out, pictures of her children, or attending dance classes. Her very last post was made on July 26 and it featured a sweet throwback photo of her son, Sylvester with his dog named Butkus.
