A father is willing to risk his own life while protecting his three children in a shooting incident at a car dealership in New York, USA.
In the incident, last Monday (September 21), the man and his children were reportedly in the waiting room before the shooter suddenly came behind the glass door.
Around 7.30 pm local time, a man in a dark hoodie was seen approaching the glass door before taking out a gun and start firing.
People were seen running to save themselves while the man hugged and protected his three children while kneeling on the floor.
According to NBC New York, the 39-year-old man sustained gunshot wounds to the thigh and was taken to Jacobi Hospital. The victim was reported to be in stable condition while his children were not injured.
Local police claimed the three shooters were targeting someone inside the premises. All of them reportedly fled with one of them fleeing a customer’s vehicle.
