All Schools In The Red Zone COVID-19 Area Will Be Closed – MOE

The government in a media statement by the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE) confirmed that all schools located in areas that have been certified as COVID-19 red zones will be closed.

Accordingly, all schools in Klang Selangor, Sandakan, Tuaran, Papar in Sabah will be closed from 8 October 2020. This will involve 142 schools in the Klang district and 242 schools in the three districts in Sabah.

For schools that have a dormitory and are waiting for parents to invite them, they can stay in the dormitory with the supervision of the warden on duty.

For the list of schools closed in the district of Klang, Selangor, it can be checked by parents, guardians, and school staff through the link provided here.

However, be reminded that this list of schools will be updated from time to time and can be downloaded through the MOE Portal and on the official MOE social media platform.
