Almost 43 million COVID-19 Positive Cases Reported Worldwide

The cumulative number of COVID-19 positive cases worldwide is now close to 43 million. This is due to more than 430,000 new infections being recorded within 24 hours. Global positive cases now reach 42.91 million.

According to the latest Johns Hopkins University data, it shows the United States remains the worst-affected country with 8.63 million cases of infection. This was followed by India with 7.86 million cases, while Brazil recorded 5.38 million cases.

The following are the countries that have passed one million cases, among them are Russia, France, Argentina, Spain, and Columbia.

Meanwhile, Mexico, Peru, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Iran, Italy, and Chile surpassed half a million cases

Countries in the range of 300,000 to 500,000 cases of coronavirus infection are Iraq, Germany, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Philippines, Turkey, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Israel, and Belgium.

Countries that exceed 100,000 to 300,000 are the Netherlands, Czechia, Poland, Canada, Romania, Morocco, Ecuador, Nepal, Bolivia, Qatar, Panama, the United Arab Emirates, the Dominican Republic, Kuwait (121,635), and Oman.

Countries such as Sweden, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Guatemala, Switzerland, and Costa Rica are also in the same group. Meanwhile, other countries still recorded positive numbers below 100,000 cases that includes Malaysia.
