An Ukrainian Fitness Influencer Died Of COVID-19 After Not Believing It Existed

Ukrainian fitness influencer, Dmitriy Stuzhuk died at the age of 33 after tested positive for COVID-19. Before being confirmed positive, he was among the individuals who did not believe that the virus existed.

A few days ago, Mr. Stuzhuk shared a post on his Instagram account that updated his followers regarding his condition, after getting contracted with the virus.

In his Instagram post, he wrote that during a recent trip to Turkey, he woke up one night with difficulty breathing and he also had a cough the next day.

On his return to Ukraine, Stuzhuk underwent a test for COVID-19, which confirmed he was positive.

“I want to share how I got sick and to strongly warn everyone. I was one who thought that Covid does not exist… Until I got sick,” said the fitness influencer.

“COVID-19 IS NOT A SHORT-LIVED DISEASE! And it is heavy,” he added.

After eight days he was permitted to leave his ward rather than remain in an overcrowded Kyiv hospital.

But after a few hours he was rushed back to the hospital where his ex-wife, Sofia said he was soon in a ‘grave condition’ and ‘unconscious’.

According to Independent UK, Sofia with whom he had three children, announced on Instagram that he had died a day later.

“For the rest of my life, I will remain grateful to you for our three beautiful children. For all the invaluable experience. And for who I have become with you, ”she wrote on her post dedicated to her former husband.
