EMCO In Tawau Prison & Taman Ehsan Prison Quarters Extended Until October 25

The implementation of the Enhancement Movement Control Order (EMCO) at Tawau Prison and Taman Ehsan Prison Quarters is extended until October 25.

Senior Minister (Security Cluster), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, the extension of the period was made due to the fact that there are still new positive cases of COVID-19 recorded.

“The extension of this period is to enable the Ministry of Health (MOH) to conduct the next screening,” he said in a press conference today.

Previously, the EMCO instructions in the two areas were only extended from September 26 to October 9 today.
