Famous Pokémon Plushies Seller In PJ, Uncle David Has Passed Away

There is an elderly uncle who actively sells Pokémon Plushies outside of a bank in Uptown, Damansara. He is a very well-known person by all of his customers because of his kind and nice attitude towards other people. Many people also love the quality of the Pokémon Plushies that he sells to everyone there. Sadly, he has passed away recently.

Our beloved Uncle David has passed away due to his long-term illness. One particular Facebook account that is named June Lim who is also Uncle David’s friend shared a posting on her Facebook page telling everyone the sad news about Uncle David has passed away recently.

June Lim wrote on her Facebook’s posting, “Dear our beloved Uncle David, our sweet memories with Pokémon Toys. Goodbye, Uncle Pokémon”. Everyone would be completely devastated by this news as he is so loved by everyone. Rest in peace, Uncle David.

Uncle David became a viral and sensational hit on the internet by storm years ago when he had stocked up on 250 Pokémon plush toys after a customer requested it. The sad thing was the customer that has ordered all that never showed up to buy all the Pokémon plushies that Uncle David has prepared.

Because of that, all the general public had decided to rush to his aid and bought the great-quality toys that he was humbly selling for RM10 apiece. He was also there selling the Pokémon plushies even after the Pokémon Go phase had slowed down a bit.

Sad to say, this Covid-19 pandemic and also his health complications made things even harder for him. This is because, he got diagnosed with cancer and he was also rendered immobile due to sores on his feet that would bleed, from chemotherapy and diabetes. The Movement Control Order also put a stop to his plush toy business, which was his livelihood. He then hospitalized at Hospital Ampang for heart problems. You will be missed, Uncle David.
