PDRM Raids Private Party At Penang Luxury Bungalow And Discovers Various Illegal Substances

Because of the recent COVID-19 Pandemic situation, many clubs are still not given permission by the government to be opened. This decision is made to curb the infection of coronavirus from getting worse. Due to the closing of many clubs, some people decided to make their own party so that they can still have a great time together.

Recently, police have raided a private party that was being held in Batu Ferringhi, Penang. At a particular party, police have also found many illegal drugs that all of them use in the party. This news is posted on Penang Kini Ori Facebook social media platform.

Facebook’s posting wrote, “Over 30 men and five women were arrested after they were discovered to be involved in a private party at a luxury bungalow at Batu Ferringhi. The raid happened at 11:30 pm last night (10 October), and results of investigations and public information on the activities of the group who made the bungalow a party venue include drug abuse following the discovery of a number of illicit substances”.

The statement also added that the particular luxury bungalow unit is actually used as a rental property on a daily basis for any private parties that wanted to commence since entertainment outlets have yet to be allowed to reopen.
