PERHILITAN Close 10 Public Facilities Due to COVID-19 Starting October 6

The Department of Wildlife and National Parks (PERHILITAN) has informed that all public facilities under its supervision will be temporarily closed from October 6, 2020 until further notice.

According to a tweet via the official Twitter account of the PERHILITAN, there are 10 public facilities that will be closed with effect from October 6, 2020.

It is is done as one of the measures to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic. Here are some of the public facilities that will be temporarily closed:

  • Paya Indah Wetlands
  • National Elephant Conservation Center
  • Kelantan National Park Kuala Koh
  • Penang National Park
  • Pahang National Park, Sungai Relau, Merapoh
  • Terengganu National Park, Tanjung Mentong
  • Pahang National Park, Kuala Tahan
  • RAMSAR Tasek Bera site
  • Wildlife Conservation Center (PKHL)
  • Wildlife Rescue Center (PMHL)
