Because of all the backlashes Rihanna received due to the fashion show, she has issued an apology publicly especially for the Muslim Community worldwide because of what she had done for the song of the show. Many people from the Muslim Community and also the other community supporting Islam become angry and also offended because Rihanna used the sacred Islamic verses in a particular song played at her own fashion show.

At first, Rihanna was praised because of the inclusivity that she has implemented for her Savage X Fenty lingerie fashion show. Her collection features many models that come from different sizes, races, and also genders. This particular lingerie fashion show debuted at Amazon Prime on the 2nd of October 2020. Unfortunately, not long after the praises, there came all the criticisms because of her major mistake in song selection during the fashion show.

Many viewers took major offense from a huge portion of the fashion show. Some of that would be when all the models for the fashion show clothed in lingerie and danced to a song that sampled audio of someone reading the Hadith. She also added, “I would more importantly like to apologize to you for this honest, yet careless mistake. We understand that we have hurt many of our Muslim brothers and sisters, and I’m incredibly disheartened by this”.

She stated even more, “I do not play with any kind of disrespect toward God or any religion and therefore the use of the song in our project was completely irresponsible! Moving forward we will make sure nothing like this ever happens again. Thank you for your forgiveness and understanding”.

This particular apology comes from Rihanna herself after a multiple of tweets has called out Rihanna and also the London-based producer that is Coucou Chloe. This major offending song is called “DOOM” by Coucou Chloe features the controversial Hadith narration about the end of times and also judgment day. Of course, it would be so insulting.
