(Video) Baby’s Murder: Refuse to Cooperate, Police Forced To Lift Suspect Into Court

The tense situation at Bachok Magistrate’s Court has witnessed a man who believed to be the main suspect of a very poor eight-month-old baby who got murdered. The suspect had to be picked up by several policemen when the man really refused to cooperate with the remand order procedure against him.

The 40-year-old man was seen refusing to get off the police vehicle that took him from Bachok District Police Headquarters to the court compound as soon as he arrived there at about 9.20 am.

The suspect who is believed to experience a mental problem wanted to read various surahs from the Al-Quran so that they can be used as a ‘self-defense’ for him. The police tried to persuade him to get of the vehicle for about 10 whole minutes. However, the man ignored the order that was given by the police that is working at that time.

His stubborn action forced a policeman to pull the suspect out of the vehicle, then five other members had to lift and carry the man until he entered the court, to continue the remand order procedure.

Magistrate Mohd Dinie Syazwan Ab Shukor then has ordered the suspect who is also a gardener, to be remanded for seven days starting today until next Tuesday.

The remand order is in accordance with Section 117 of the Criminal Procedure Code to enable an investigation to be conducted under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

Yesterday, the police has found the victim who is an eight months old baby in a heartbreaking condition with his body smeared with salt and was put in a sack hidden under a table in the kitchen of a house. The baby was believed to have been killed by his biological father in Kampung Sungai Dua, Melawi.
