(Video) Terrifying Moment Happened When The Shelves Of A Store Collapsed One By One And Killed A Store Worker

According to the news reported by Daily Mail, many people at a convenience store in Brazil had to face a frightening and terrifying moment when many of the shelves in that particular store that was used to arrange all the items in that mall suddenly collapsed with the ‘domino’ effect. The sudden incident had killed one of the workers of the mall.

Eight other people including all the customers and also the staff were injured during the unfortunate incident that happened last Friday. The incident took place at Mateus Atacarejo Mix Supermarket that is actually located in São Luís, north of Brazil.

The poor victim that was unfortunately dead in the incident was a 21-year-old girl and she has been working for the store for a total of three months. She was crushed between the shelves that were collapsed and she was storing all the items on the shelves when the tragic incident happened. The other six people that were at the same location got injured and they were saved by the emergency rescuing team.

The CCTV recorded all the things that happened just before the shelved collapsed. As you can see in the video, all the metal structures of the shelves start falling down and caused a ‘domino’ effect on the bigger shelves in front of it.

The Fire Brigade team, police, and also ambulance service acted so fast and arrived at the incident scene as quickly as possible and the operation to search all the victims from the incident continue all night long. It took about 11 hours and it also involved 270 fire brigades to search for everyone. The searching ended officially on Saturday morning.
