It appears that there’s a network disruption at the moment which causes some devices to show “no signal” or even “emergency calls only” status. This problem has affected many people that really need to use this service during this COVID-19 situation.

Celcom has recently acknowledged the technical issue that they have to face which affects their voice and also data services in certain areas nationwide. According to the blue telco, their technical team is working so hard to resolve and restore its services as soon as possible for their beloved users.

Because of this, Celcom is currently trending on Twitter and a significant number of users complained of not being able to open websites and Google. Other applications such as YouTube, Grab and Food Panda appear to be affected as well. It isn’t clear how extensive the problem is but it appears to be sporadic.
