CMCO May End Earlier Than Expected – MKN

Recently, The National Security Council (MKN) has posted on its official Facebook social media platform announcing that the CMCO may end earlier than expected. This could happen if the risk assessment of these dangerous and infectious Covid-19 cases across the states sees a gradual decrease.

Other than that news, Ismail Sabri who is the Defense Minister also announced that MKN is still considering a particular proposal submitted by the Ministry of Tourism to finally allow the movement among green zone areas from different states when he talks about the latest update of the Covid-19 situation in the country.

Ismail Sabri mentioned that as for now, the particular SOPs needed are still being refined and MKN also is still considering implementing looser regulations in areas where Covid-19 cases are low.

Malaysians give a lot of different reactions towards this latest announcement made. Some of them are relieved that this CMCO will be lifted up earlier while some of the others completely disagree with this announcement saying that they have to make sure the number of COVID-19 cases is zero before they decided to end the CMCO.
