Gain 3 Million Fans A Day, Handsome Tibetan Guy Gets Job After Online Fame

The Tibetan people are an ethnic group native to Tibet on the crossroads of South and East Asia. Their current population is estimated to be around 6.5 million.

In addition to living in Tibet Autonomous Region, significant numbers of Tibetans live in the Chinese provinces of Gansu, Qinghai, Sichuan, and Yunnan, as well as in eastern Pakistan, northern India, Nepal, Bhutan, and the western world.

A post by South China Morning Post tells about a man from the Khampa Tibetan tribe, Ding Zhen, who gained popularity from his handsome looks.

The 20-year-old, who lives in Litang in the Kham region of Tibet, found accidental fame online from being captured in a blogger’s photography session in Nyima County.

Ding Zhen, who has only little proficiency in Mandarin, expresses how he loves raising horses.

Overnight, he had gained over 3 million followers.

The man had even been given job offers, including some influencer agencies and TV show invitations.  Sing had accepted an offer from a state-owned travel company that pays him monthly, along with other benefits given.

The online fame about a tribe man has caused dispute throughout the internet, where people are saying that a young innocent man is being taken advantage of from his looks for other people to gain from it.
