Unscheduled Water Disruptions Supply In 8 Regions Starting 6pm Today

Through a media statement issued by Air Selangor just now, it was informed that 8 regions will experience unscheduled water disruptions supply starting at 6:00 pm today (10 November 2020).

The regions involved are Kuala Lumpur, Petaling, Klang, Shah Alam, Gombak, Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor and Kuala Langat.

It is due to the occurrence of odor pollution such as solvents that have been detected in the Selangor River.

Due to the pollution as well, the Rantau Panjang Water Treatment Plant (LRA), SSP 1, 2, and 3 were stopped at around 12.20 to 12.45 this afternoon.

According to the statement, the pollution in the Rantau Panjang LRA is at level 8 TON while SSP 1, 2, and 3 are at level 4 TON
