(Video) Popular Anime ‘Attack on Titan’ Statue In Creator’s Hometown

If before this manga artist Eiichiro Oda who created the popular anime ‘One Piece’ had his own anime statue in his hometown in Kumamoto, now it is the turn for another famous manga artist, Hajime Isayama.

Recently, his famous work ‘Attack On Titan’ has been immortalized as the latest attraction in Oyama. Three bronze statues of the main characters in the anime, namely Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman, and Armin Arlert, have been placed near the Oyama dam, Oita district, Japan.

For everyone’s information, Oita is Hajime’s hometown and the dam is the place where he was inspired to create three walls in the manga storyline ‘Attack on Titan’.

The three real-sized statues were directed towards the dam to replicate one of the scenes of ‘Attack On Titan’, while the three companions saw the Colossal Titan for the first time.

Not only that, an augmented reality application has been specially built for this and you can see Titan standing behind the dam.

During an interview at the statue opening ceremony, Hajime took the opportunity to thank the fans and donors for this award.
