COVID Patient In California Beats Roommate With Oxygen Tank To Death

Last week, a COVID-19 patient reportedly beat his roommate with an oxygen tank inside a California hospital to die. According to ABC 7, the murder happened at Antelope Valley Hospital on December 17.

Investigators said the two men were sharing a room in the hospital’s COVID-19 unit when the attacker beat the 82-year-old man with an oxygen tank, ended up in the man dying.

The authorities said that the victim, who was not identified, died one day after the attack. The police confirmed that the two men were strangers to each other.

Officials are still investigating the assassination and have not released a justification for the attack.

They arrested the perpetrator and charged him with murder. His name wasn’t published.

A hospital representative stated that because it was a criminal investigation, they were unable to comment on the incident.
