KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 8 — A moderate earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale hit Myanmar at 1.14 pm today.
According to MetMalaysia’s statement, the earthquake occurred about 76 km west of Monywa, Myanmar at a depth of 89km.
However, the earthquake poses no tsunami threat to Malaysia, it said.–
