Thunderstorm Warning In 7 States Until Tonight – METMalaysia

The Malaysian Meteorological Department (METMalaysia) has just issued a thunderstorm / heavy rain warning in several states in Malaysia which is expected to occur until 7 pm tonight.

The thunderstorm warning issued at 4:10 pm involved several states in Malaysia.

Here are some areas that are expected to be hit by a thunderstorm until 7 tonight:

Perak: (Larut, Matang and Selama, Kuala Kangsar, Kinta, Kampar and Batang Padang)

Selangor: (Hulu Langat)

Negeri Sembilan: (Seremban, Port Dickson and Rembau)

Malacca

Johor: (Kluang, Kulai, Kota Tinggi and Johor Bahru)

Sarawak: Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Kapit (Song) and Bintulu (Tatau)

Sabah: Pantai Barat (Ranau), Tawau (Kunak and Lahad Datu) and Sandakan (Telupid)

In this regard, the public is advised to be vigilant especially for areas that are expected to be hit by thunderstorms this afternoon.
