Man Sell PS5 For RM6K, Receives Backlash For Overpricing

Since the release of the Playstation 5, people have been going crazy about wanting to get their hands on the new gaming console. Some should even say they do anything for it.

Despite that, a tweet by @bartbhrdn went viral when it showed a man wanted to sell his PS5 game console to pay his house deposit. But, he got a reaction from many Twitter users for selling it for around RM6,000.

Just as a reminder, the estimated price for PS5 in Malaysia is around RM1,900 for the digital version and RM2,300 for the regular version. Meanwhile, the additional controller is sold at a price of around RM349.

The man’s sharing drew criticism because of the high prices offered. One of the Twitter users even says the most expensive price can be offered can only be up to RM3,000.

If it was you, would you buy the gaming console worth double the price?
