3 Interesting Functions You Might Want To Know About The Circle Holes In Plastic Chairs

One of the most common types of plastic chairs that many people can find in various places nowadays would be the famous plastic chairs with no backrest and one interesting feature of the seats is that it has a hole in the middle.

At first glance, it can be seen as something that has absolutely no benefits, except only as a variation from other designs.

Little that people know, the hole actually brings a lot of function and also safety features towards the design of the plastic seat itself. In a matter of fact, there are three main functions of the plastic seat hole without the backrest.

1) Prevent The Stool From Breaking When Pressure Is Applied To It.

The holes in plastic stools are actually designed in a round shape and not a square shape for a reason. It actually functions to maintain the structural integrity of the stool and also to prevent it from breaking when people sit on it. If the design was made in square or any other shape with angles, the force would be only concentrated in those places and increase the risk of worn out easily. Circular holes is the perfect design as it will help to spread the force evenly.

2) Easy Stacking Of The Stools.

The function of the hole is actually to liberate the air pressure and hence to prevent a vacuum from building up when they are stacked together. It also functions to relieve the air pressure so disassembling the stack of stools would become much easier.

3) Fingers Can Easily Go Through.

The hole also is used to facilitate people when taking and separating it one by one using only the fingers. It does make carrying the stools more comfortable and convenient.

It actually seems so trivial for many people in this whole wide world but through this plastic seat holder without a backrest, we are taught that the smallest thing if it is created or made of course would bring its own benefits, although only small and simple benefits.
