(Video) Base Jumping At Kjerag In Norway, One of The World’s Most Iconic Base Jump Sites

Malaysia has a base jumping station 300 meters from the ground, which already feels like a harrowing experience for many. But imagine from 1110 meters above the ground where you’ll fall in 138 meters per second! For adrenaline junkies or daredevils, this might be on your bucket list.

This breath-taking experience (pun intended) is located in Norway, home to glaciers, deep coastal fjords, European mountains, and Nazi history. If you’re not one of the faint-hearted, you may top your experience there with this monumental jump. You will be accompanied by stunning views of Norwegian mountains into the abyss. The base is located on a mountain near Stavanger.

The cliff drops 984 meters straight down. It is known as one of the most iconic and active base jump sites in the world! Ever want to feel like an angel falling down from heaven? Propelled by swing, pillow jump pad, or just a leap of faith, you could experience it in 15 seconds before you hit the ground.

This station is however only open for experienced base jumpers. From there, they could somersault through the air and opening their wingsuit until reaching the appropriate height to deploy their parachute before landing on the ground or the chilly waters.

The base is in Kjerag near Lysebotn. To get there, you need to fly to Stavenger. After that, take a ferry to Lysebotn while enjoying the view of the fjord before flinging yourself from Kjerag’s cliff through the misty waters.
