Brazilian Female Mobile Gamer Allegedly Killed By Fellow E-Sports Player

A Brazilian female gamer was allegedly killed by a fellow E-Sports player in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Her body was found at the home of the suspect. The suspect reportedly recorded a video admitting to the crime before sharing it with a group of gamers via Whatsapp. This includes a gaming organization called Gamers Elite Clan.

He later turned himself in at the advice of his brother. The suspect confessed to being in fit mental health and that he planned everything. The authorities have seized evidence in relation to the case such as pictures, proof of meetings prior to the murder, and a notebook where he allegedly wrote all of his plans.

The victim was a rising star and played for organizations like FBI Esports and Jaguares Esports. They expressed their condolences and urged for justice to this case.

“It is with deep sadness that Jaguares Esports wishes strength to SOL’s family and the FBI Esports team. We are all in mourning. Rest in peace and justice be done,” they said.

The real motive of the murder is uncertain. However, many speculate on the jealousy between players in the same field. Despite the confession, this case is still undergoing investigation.

This brings forth the dire state of crime towards women in Brazil. The victim was actively working with the Battle Girls organization and even help create a safe space for women in E-sports.
