“Did l Read It Correctly Or Is it A Fake News?” – Dr. Dzulkefly

During this Movement Control Order (MCO) 2.0, everyone is already informed that they would have to self-quarantine themselves at home once they have arrived from someplace else. Usually, the period of self-quarantine would suppose to be for 10 days and this has to be followed by everyone in Malaysia.

Recently, there is the latest notice got released mentioning the period of self-quarantine for The Cabinet Of Ministers. The notice is cited as the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Exemption) Order 2021. The latest order will be in order from the 9th of February until the 1st of August 2021.

Written there, “The Cabinet of Ministers who returns from any overseas official visit shall undergo observation for three days or undergo surveillance until be discharged without danger to the public”.

This statement has made many parties got confused including the Former Minister of Health, Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad. He has taken it to his official Twitter account to question the matter.

He said in the posting, “Did l read it correctly, or is it a fake news?”

“Could anyone verify this, please…For the sake of the Rakyat and the Nation,” he added.

Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad also mentioned the Ministry Of Health to clarify this statement whether it is true or not. He is truly in shock why does the latest self-quarantine at home for The Cabinet of Ministers just last for three days.
