PM Will Advise The YDP Agong To Dissolve Parliament Once COVID-19 Situation Eases

The Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin will advise the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah to dissolve Parliament as soon as the spread of Covid-19 subsides.

This was explained through a special message conference he delivered today.

He said, as the Head of Government, I also always respect the system and legal process of our country which is based on the system of Constitutional Monarchy and Parliamentary Democracy.

“I would like to reiterate my commitment that I will advise His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to dissolve Parliament as soon as the outbreak of COVID-19 has subsided and the General Election is safe to hold,” he explained in the message.
