Disney just released a new trailer for Raya and the Last Dragon. In the trailer, Disney shows the latest song for the movie. Raya is the first Disney animated film in nearly five years. This will feature the voices of Kelli Marie Tran as Raya and Crazy Rich Asian‘s Awkwafina as the dragon.
The story is about Raya, a girl from the kingdom of Kumandra who is finding a way to save her people. On her journey, she finds Sisu; the last dragon. Raya and The Last Dragon originally planned to release in theaters in November 2020. However, due to Covid restrictions, it is delayed to March this year.
When it comes to their animation, Disney always goes all in. Including the soundtracks. Although, we can only know for sure when the film finally comes out on Disney +. Whatever it is, this movie looks to be a great successor to Disney’s stellar records throughout their decades-long history.
