30-Year-Old Male Cosplayer Showing His Skills, Can Change Into Anime-Inspired Heroine

Cosplayers can alter their appearance significantly without going under the knife. Their skills could range from interesting to scary. A 30-year-old Japanese office worker recently took Japanese social media by storm with his transformation into an anime-inspired heroine. Minato-san, a cosplay enthusiast took cosplaying seriously and to the extreme. He likes to cosplay as anime girls. His skills are so good that it is impossible to guess his real sex.

He learns makeup, the use of modern accessories, and digital manipulation. Minato-san can confuse viewers with his transformation. Four years ago, his fascination started. He made an appointment in a beauty salon in Akihabara, Tokyo just to see himself with makeup on. The result leads to him learning makeup techniques.

His experiments don’t always get good results but they definitely improved his skills. He employs other techniques as well such as taping to alter facial features. Other accessories like wigs, women’s stockings,  silicone prosthetic breasts, and some digital processing as the cherry on top contributed to his success.

He attracted social media attention with a photo collage of his picture and his cosplay persona. The transformation was shared thousands of times and received over 100,000 likes on Twitter alone.
