Agong Congratulates Lee Zii Jia On Winning The All England Championship

His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah expressed his congratulations to national badminton hero Lee Zii Jia on his success in winning the All England Badminton Championship yesterday.

The news was conveyed through the official Facebook of Istana Negara in a post today.

Through the post, His Majesty expressed his happiness and pride over the success of Lee Zii Jia which at once rose and made the country’s name known on the world stage. Indeed, his success will surely make all Malaysians happy.

“His Majesty also expressed the hope that this success will be an inspiration to Lee Zii Jia to train harder to be more excellent in the future,” wrote Istana Negara.

“His Majesty wished Lee Zii Jia good luck, may he be blessed with continued excellent success and continue to make the country famous on the world stage.

“His Majesty expressed the hope that his success will also be a source of inspiration to all Malaysians to work hard and strive to achieve success in their respective fields,” added Istana Negara.

Meanwhile, His Majesty also expressed his appreciation to the Badminton Association of Malaysia, under the leadership of Tan Sri Mohamad Norza bin Zakaria, and the coaching staff for the success of Lee Zii Jia.
