Lee Zii Jia Up To 8th Place In The World Rankings After Winning ‘All England Open 2021’

Right after successfully becoming the grand champion in the ‘All England Open 2021’ Lee Zii Jia from Malaysia is now proudly ranked eighth in the world rankings of the men’s singles category. The achievement was reported by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) stating that he has accumulated in a total of 12,000 points after finally beating the Denmark competitor that is Viktor Axelsen in the finals with the results of (30-29, 20-22, 21-9).

Nowadays, his total points become 69,389 accumulated from all the 25 tournaments that he has played. Lee Zii Jia had recently entered the top 10 rankings in the month of March 2020. National men’s singles shuttler that is Lee Zii Jia has made the country proud by winning the All-England Badminton Championships men’s singles title.

This 22-year-old Malaysian has his career’s best ranking now. Lee Zii Jia’s recent victory at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham on the 21st of March has pushed him up two places. That means he has succeeded to overtake Angus Ng Ka Long of Hong Kong with 69,270 points and also Wang Tzu-Wei of Taiwan with 63,393 points.
