Mystery Faceless 23 Feet Long Sea Creature Found On UK Beach

A huge mysterious sea creature without a face has been found on the shores of the United Kingdom, making experts confused to identify the true ‘identity’ of the animal.

Scientists will be conducting research to investigate the 23-foot-long strange creature after it was found on Broad Haven South Beach in Pembrokeshire, Wales.

Matthew Westfield is the stranding coordinator for Wales for the UK Cetacean Strandings Investigation Program, who was informed about the discovery.

“It’s very difficult to tell for certain what it is because it’s so badly decomposed.

“It died at sea and had been dead for a while before it washed up on the beach, so it would have come in with one of the high tides.”

It is estimated to weigh four tonnes but the decaying carcass making it difficult for experts to make accurate estimates.

“Basically the whole head element was either decomposed or missing or pointing in the wrong direction.

“We were unable to say, ‘right, there’s the head element of it’ so we suspect it could have been longer,” added Westfield.

Currently, the sample of the creature has been taken for testing.

Pictures taken from the scene show the carcass of the animal which is gray and has started to rot, in addition to visible bones in some parts of the body.
