PDRM Monitoring School To School Area To Ensure SOP Compliance In Schools

Since school is permitted to be back in operation this week, there has been a lot of images and videos that went viral showing that the parents are not following the SOPs stated by the government when they wanted to send their children to school and also when they wanted to pick up their children from school. These actions have made people worried that there might be another cluster of COVID-19 in the school area.

To avoid that unfortunate incident from happening, monitoring of school to school has been done by the Liaison Officer and also MPV and URB elements of BPJKK IPD Petaling Jaya. The patrol was done on the 4th of March 2021 and on Thursday.

According to the Facebook post, MPV and URB patrol elements of BPJKK IPD Petaling Jaya have closely monitored all the standard operating procedures (SOP) for recently done school sessions in schools around the administration of IPD Petaling Jaya.

The main objective of this particular monitoring is to help the schools to carry out monitoring from the aspect of compliance with SOPs set by the MOE and also the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH). It is also to ensure all the students and also teachers comply with the standard operating procedures (SOPs) set during school sessions throughout the implementation of Movement Control Order (MCO 2.0).
