PEMERKASA: Government May No Longer Need To Implement MCO Nationwide Or State – PM

The Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin informed that the Movement Control Order (MCO) as a whole may not be implemented again.

According to him, the government will implement the COVID-19 transmission control strategy in a more targeted manner based on science and data to reduce the negative impact on the country’s economic activities.

He added that MCO will only be implemented according to locality and focused on the relevant clusters only.
