Hugh Jackman’s new movie Reminiscence gets a teaser trailer and a release date. It was first announced in January 2019. The story follows Nick Bannister. He specializes as a ‘private investigator of the mind’ – a person who access lost memories.
His life changed when he encounters Mae (Rebecca Ferguson). Later, he becomes obsessed with uncovering the truth about her disappearance. The actor shared a teaser for Reminiscence on his Instagram page and announced the release date of September 3 this year for the US. Internationally, the thriller will premiere in theaters on August 25.
The 20 seconds clip shows dystopian-like ruins with Jackman’s character, Nick narrating in the background. The ruins are probably the visual representations of a person’s mind akin to Christopher Nolan’s Inception.
The movie is directed by Lisa Joy and debuts on HBO Max and in theatres. Other casts include Thandie Newton, Daniel Wu, Cliff Curtis, and Nico Parke.
