Bollywood Actress Katrina Kaif Tests Positive for COVID-19

NEW DELHI, April 7 – Bollywood star Katrina Kaif has tested positive for the coronavirus and is under home quarantine.

“I’m following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Requesting everyone who came in contact with me to get tested immediately too,” Katrina said in a social media post on Tuesday.

A number of Indian celebrities, including actress Alia Bhatt, cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and actor Aamir Khan, have contracted COVID-19 in recent days.

COVID-19 infections have surged in India and the entertainment and business hub of Mumbai is one of the worst-hit cities.
