Human-made technologies are actually such great accomplishments for this whole wide world because they help many people to make something that might be so unbelievable to be achieved before. Nevertheless, always keep in mind that these technologies also have their own flaws that could go wrong without people knowing. At the end of the day, humans can only plan but god determines everything that happened.

1) KRI Nanggala (402)

A missing Indonesian Navy submarine has been found, broken into at least three parts, deep in the Bali Sea. Rescuers found new objects, including a life vest that they believe belongs to those aboard the 44-year old KRI Nanggala-402 which lost contact on Wednesday as it prepared to conduct a torpedo drill. Search teams had found objects including prayer mat fragments and a bottle of periscope lubricant near the submarine’s last known location, leading the navy to believe the vessel had cracked.

2) ‘Losharik’ (AS-31)

It is a Russian deep-diving nuclear-powered submarine. On 1 July 2019, a fire broke out on the vessel 1 July 2019 while it was taking underwater measurements of the seafloor in Russian territorial waters. Fourteen of the crew were killed by inhalation of smoke or toxic fumes. Seven of those who died held the rank of first rank captain and two were recipients of the Hero of the Russian Federation award. Submarine commander Denis Dolonsky was among those killed. The presence of such a high-ranking crew on a single vessel may be an indication that the vessel was carrying out a high-risk task or testing a new capability at the time of the accident.

3) ARA San Juan (S-42)

ARA San Juan (S-42) was a TR-1700-class diesel-electric submarine in service with the Submarine Force of the Argentine Navy from 1986 to 2017. It was built in West Germany and entered service on 19 November 1985. On 15 November 2017, the Argentine submarine ARA San Juan (S-42) disappeared off the coast of Argentina while on a training exercise. After a search lasting 15 days, the Argentine Navy downgraded the operation from a rescue mission to a search for the submarine’s wreck, implying they had given up any hope of finding survivors among its crew of 44.

4) Yono Class Submarine

The Yono-class submarine is a class of North Korean miniature submarines, produced for domestic use as well as for export. Also referred to as the Yeono class, these submarines displace 130 tons, significantly less than North Korea’s larger 1,800-ton Romeo-class submarines. In an accident, the submarine had sub sunk and 8 of the crews were lost.

5) Nerpa (K-152)

The Nerpa (K-152) accident occurred aboard the Russian submarine K-152 Nerpa on 8 November 2008, which resulted in the deaths of 20 people and injuries to 41 more. The accident was blamed on a crew member who was allegedly playing with a fire suppressant system that he thought was not operative. Freon gas was released inside two compartments of the submerged submarine during the vessel’s sea trials in the Sea of Japan. Victims were asphyxiated or suffered frostbite in their lungs. The high casualty count was attributed in part to the large number of civilians on board who were assisting with the testing for commissioning.
