Tenant Who Cannot Pay 3 Months Rent Decided To Lock Owner In The House

We have absolutely read a lot of news especially about the attitudes and also behaviors of irresponsible tenants that have caused many problems for their own landlords. If it is the kind of tenant that usually causes dirt and damage to the rental house, we have always heard that. But there are also those who have problems by not paying rent for three months and even worse, the tenant have the nerve to lock the owner in the rental house and then change the lock.

Through a video posted on the TikTok app that went viral, a woman can be seen telling her problem to a group of firefighters who were trying to break the lock on the grill door of her house where she was trapped.

According to the woman in the posted video, she said that she lives in the house and is the actual owner of the house. At the same time, she had also rented a room in her house to another individual. The tenant was said to not be able to pay the rent for three months already. Because of that she had to change the door lock with a new one. At the time of the incident, the tenant’s belongings were still in the house and the tenant went home to pick up her belongings.

To the owner’s surprise, the lock of the house have been changed with a new one the next day. That action has caused the owner to could not get out of the house. The owner would of course suspected that the act had been committed by the tenant who locked it from the outside causing her to have to call the fire department to open the lock.

Looking at the comment section, many netizens are shocked and puzzled with the rude action done by the tenant towards the owner of the house.
