In conjunction with the 75th-anniversary celebration of Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM), Tengku Permaisuri Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin agreed to receive a special invitation from RTM, delivering live news in the Berita Perdana slot at 8 pm, Thursday.
Her Majesty hopes that RTM will continue to be a place for disseminating accurate information to the people, as well as continue to be relevant as a major source of authentic and caliber media.
Through a post on Facebook by the Selangor Royal Office, DYMM Tengku Permaisuri Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin agreed to accept a special invitation from the RTM Newsroom to deliver live news in the Berita Perdana slot at 8 pm at Studio Wisma Berita, Angkasapuri.
This is Her Majesty’s first appearance on the RTM channel as a news presenter, after the last time, it aired five years ago on 31 August 2016.
For the record, DYMM Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin worked as a TV News Presenter at RTM for 20 years starting in 1996. She has been recognized as the Best TV News Presenter twice at the Seri Angkasa Awards, in 2001 and 2005.
