‘Spanar Jaya’ Actor, Ramassuntran Rengan Passed Away Early This Morning

Early this morning, the Malaysian film industry was shocked by the loss of a well-known actor, comedian, singer, and director. He is Ramassuntran Rengan, 57, reported to have breathed his last around 2 to 2.30 this morning at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL).

According to a statement from the Persatuan Seniman Malaysia Facebook posts, he had previously suffered from swollen feet and was taken to the HKL emergency department between 12 and 12.30 midnight (last night).

However, about an hour later, the doctor confirmed that the Spanar Jaya actor had died. At the same time, he is believed to have a history of heart problems.

“Leaving sweet memories to all friends. Condolences to his wife Kamala and family. Goodbye Rama, you may rest now …,” wrote Persatuan Seniman Malaysia.
