(Video) Huge Shark Caught On Video, Circling Around A Cruise Ship

An amazing video shows a giant shark circling a cruise ship full of tourists while people on deck scream and shout. The video, recorded by musician Alex Albrecht and uploaded on his TikTok channel has been viewed more than 30 million times since he uploaded it on Tuesday (May 25).

It shows a large shark swimming slowly in a circle near the surface of the water as screaming tourists rush to the side of the boat and shout for a closer look. The video has been ‘liked’ more than 4.6 million times and viewers are either amazed or really scared, with some considering the shark an extinct ‘Megalodon’ that is 18 meters long.

Meanwhile, many shark enthusiasts identified the monster as a basking shark, a giant species with dappled skin that reaches a length of 12 meters and weighs 6 tons.

Basking sharks are harmless to humans and are not aggressive and feed on zooplankton by swimming with their mouths open to catch them. They can be seen from May to September around southwest England, Wales, the Isle of Man, and the west coast of Scotland.
