Each country is doing various ways to immediately reduce the number of COVID-19 cases by increasing the number of vaccine receptions among the people of the country. At the same time, it can help break the chain of this pandemic.
Recently, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced through his official website that residents of the city who have already received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine have a chance to win a car by lottery.
According to him, from June 14 to July 11, 2021, anyone aged 18 and above who has received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine has the opportunity to participate in the lottery.
It is believed that five cars worth 1 million rubles ($ 16,900) each would be given away every week.
The mayor of Moscow also ordered a stay off work where locals will not work in the city from last Saturday until June 20 to prevent the spread of COVID-19 which is currently on the rise.
Sports pitches, playgrounds, and other attractions inside large parks were set to be closed while bars and restaurants were ordered to close no later than 11 pm.
“This is only a temporary solution. To avoid new restrictions and secure a sustainable improvement of the situation, we need to significantly speed up vaccinations,” Sobyanin said.
