(Video) New Unique Service In Japan, Rent A Fat Person By The Hour

Hiring people for various purposes is actually nothing new in Japan because this kind of service has been operating for a long time already. Recently, a brand new twist for this particular Japanese service is getting noticed worldwide. This is because fat individuals are rented out by both individuals and also businesses for the payment of 2,000 yen an hour. This happens because fat people who are over 100 kilograms somewhat could be such a rarity in Japan.

A particular company called ‘Debucari’ has recently started hiring fat individuals. In this context, the company’s idea is to make good business by making these rare people available to the public online. Even if it might be peculiar for us, it is very common in Japan.

Mr. Blizz who is the businessman that started the ‘Debucari’ company, has already established a brand called ‘Quizilla’ for plus size people. However, at that time there were no fat people to promote his products. After that, he started choosing the fat people who came to buy those clothes as models for their clothes. So he added about 45 people to his organization.

He then came up with a new idea. He felt that if he could rent his plus-size models to the general public, he could earn more. He started renting them out on an hourly basis. However, Blizz also has the answer to the question of why people think they can rent them. He gave two reasons for this.

  • He said that people who come to try on his brand of clothes can select the clothes by renting their model. He mentioned that they could dress him or her and see how they look.
  • People who suffer from being fat are happy to see people who are fatter than they are, so they can be happy for a while by renting out their plus size models.
