Harrow School Opens Hainan Campus Exploring New Era Talent Cultivation

KUALA LUMPUR, July 6 — Head of the Rudolf House at Harrow Haikou, Emma, surrounded by cheering classmates, recently delivered her appreciation speech naturally and gracefully with a smile on her face.

According to a statement, Harrow School is the birthplace of the ‘House system’ that also inspired the House system in the famous fantasy world of Harry Potter. Harrow Haikou has inherited this long-lasting tradition.

Located in Haikou City, which is in the northern part of Hainan – China’s largest free trade port – Harrow Haikou is the first renowned brand of international education in the city.

The school covers a total construction area of 75,000 square metres and includes Harrow Innovation Leadership Academies Haikou, Harrow International Schools, and Harrow-Little Lions Childhood Development.

Harrow Haikou can support up to 1,800 students, including 220 boarding school students, with the whole Harrow Haikou system consisting of full-time schools and boarding schools from kindergarten to high school.

Since Emma started to study at Harrow Haikou, she has discovered many exciting courses to choose from. Without excessive exams and heaps of homework, she can now allocate more time to her hobbies and better develop her all-around capabilities.

Since Harrow Haikou officially opened its doors in September last year, it has attracted over 300 students like Emma from worldwide to learn and live here.

As the fifth Harrow International School in Asia, Harrow Haikou is imbued with the same spirit as that of the Harrow School in the UK and is committed to cultivating students into outstanding talents with diverse strengths and powerful leadership skills.

Harrow Haikou is currently composed of Harrow International Schools and Harrow Innovation Leadership Academies which provide comprehensive education for kindergarten, primary school, secondary school, and high school.
